Adam Hall: Stage – and event equipment from a single source – an interview at the Prolight + Sound showblog

Adam Hall is a global player in the pro audio lighting and event industry, as well as a leader across music stores, therefore the company simply has to be exhibiting at Prolight + Sound. We have conducted an interview with Markus Jahnel (CEO/COO) of Adam Hall GmbH on his experiences and plans for the trade show.

Editorial staff: Adam Hall is a top player in the pro audio lighting and event industry, as well as a leader across music stores. Just like last year, you will be exhibiting at Prolight + Sound again next year. Why are you taking part in the exhibition? What is so special about Frankfurt?

Markus Jahnel: We think it is great that Musikmesse and Prolight + Sound are timed so close to each other, because we are represented at both events. As a result, we can present our entire product range to the appropriate target audience in an accessible way. At the same time, we appreciate the international flavour of the trade show, which attracts visitors from all over the world. For us, what is so special about Frankfurt, is that the Adam Hall headquarters is situated in Neu-Anspach (Taunus area), so we are just a stone’s throw from the venue.

Editorial staff: What are the benefits of Prolight + Sound for your company?

Markus Jahnel: We use Prolight + Sound especially for fostering relations; this is where we get feedback from our existing customers and establish contacts with new prospects at the same time. Of course, as a company, the trade show will also provide us with a market overview. But the idea of “image building” also plays an important role in our decision to be present at Prolight + Sound.

Editorial staff: Is there a product that is either new or particularly successful at the moment? What do your customers appreciate most about it?

Markus Jahnel: Clearly, the CURV 500 – Crossover PA Install/Rental and Portable PA – is on the favourites list for us: this is a product which is tailored to the needs of musicians and at the same time meets the requirements of professional installers.

Editorial staff: Will you introduce new products at the trade show? In other words: What will be the highlight for your company at Prolight + Sound 2016?

Markus Jahnel: We want to present all facets of the Adam Hall Group at the trade show. That being said, it’s important to strengthen our profile as an innovative manufacturer. At the same time, we can demonstrate that we are the perfect solution as a Single Source for stage and event equipment. Of course, we also carry highlights from our range of products such as “mobile lighting” products from Cameo and new sound innovations from LD Systems. Thanks to our “Adam Hall projects” department, customers will always find the right contact person for their project business.
