Successful trade fair appearance for the Adam Hall Group at Prolight + Sound 2017

Right on the first day of Prolight + Sound 2017 in Frankfurt am Main, the Adam Hall Group made a worldwide exclusive presentation of the future of pro audio design at the trade fair stand E60-F70 in Hall 3.1: The LD Systems® MAUI® P900 column PA system. Developed in collaboration with the Porsche Design Studio, the MAUI® P900 combines state-of-the-art technology with an iconic design and exclusive materials in a unique audio product.

In the approximately 45-minute presentation, Alexander Pietschmann, CEO of the Adam Hall Group, and Jörg Tragatschnig from the Porsche Design Group unveiled the MAUI® P900 to industry- and press representatives and explained the reasons and motives behind the joint project. Experienced product designer Tragatschnig emphasised in particular the unique “integrative design”, which makes the MAUI® P900 a unique product on the pro audio market.

Alexander Pietschmann is also proud of the achievement. “Our development team, together with the designers from the Porsche Design Studio, have done a first-class job. We are introducing a brand new kind of design into the industry. I am really looking forward to seeing the reactions in the market.” The enormous crowds at the official introduction of the MAUI® P900 speak volumes in this regard…

The unique designer column system from LD Systems® was naturally also one of the major topics of conversation at the Adam Hall Group’s evening stand party. Over drinks and snacks and in a festival mood, around 200 customers, industry professionals and press representatives were at the stand from 18:00 to bring the thoroughly eventful first day at Prolight + Sound to a close.

The musical highlight of the evening was the high-flying whiz-kid Kiddo Kat, whose cover version of the Prince Classic Kiss on a Frankfurt tram became a worldwide viral YouTube hit. She had already performed at noon at the presentation of the MAUI® P900, using the new column PA system.

Cameo extends ZENIT® series
The other fair days naturally provided a lot of other interesting product news from the development studios of the Adam Hall Group. The ZENIT® series from the own brand Cameo has just been extended to include several LED spotlights for the professional install- and rental market.

Alongside the already well-known PAR lamps ZENIT® Z 120, ZENIT® P 130 and Zenith® P 40, new introductions include the ZENIT® B 60 battery-operated, IP65-rated PAR spotlight and its own special 6-way-touring case with charging station. The ZENIT® W 600 also represents a completely new design from Cameo. With its IP65 rating, RGBW colour mix, 16-bit resolution and a brightness of up to 21,000 lumens, the outdoor LED washer light is perfect for numerous indoor and outdoor applications.

In addition, both the ZENIT® W 600 and the battery-operated ZENIT® B 60 feature flexible wireless DMX control options via W-DMX™ as well as the in-house iDMX® technology for convenient App control.

MAUI to GO
In addition to the MAUI® P900 and the collaboration with the Porsche Design Studio, LD Systems  has a further highlight: At Prolight + Sound 2017, the Adam Hall Group presented the MAUI® 5 GO – the world’s first battery-operated column PA , bringing optimum portability into a variety of different sound applications. There was an audible buzz at the trade fair stand as people discussed the MAUI® 5 GO’s wide range of applications: Concerts in special locations, adaptable PA setups for conferences or just a spontaneous session in the park with excellent sound … the MAUI® 5 GO makes it possible.
