Goliath sound with 2400 watts – the active 2.1 Satellite PA DAVE 18 G3 from LD Systems

Powerful and easy to carry, even in a small car, LD Systems presents the compact DAVE 18 G3 sound system. An 18″ bass reflex subwoofer which encases all the electronics acts as the power house for the two 10″ satellites with 1″ HF compression drivers.

XLR, 6.3mm jack and RCA formats are available as line input; the Class D amplifier unit delivers a peak power of 2400 watts for the entire system. With this, the DAVE 18 G3 achieves a dynamic and assertive play with a maximum of 135 dB sound pressure over a frequency range of 32 Hz & 20 kHz. This is quite unique in this price range.

The built-in digital signal processing and two limiters, as well as the protection system against short circuits and current surges also contribute to a reliable operation and consistently balanced audio quality. The system volume and subwoofer level can be set separately.

The housing of the DAVE 18 G3 components are made of laquered 15 mm birch plywood. Sturdy steel grilles protect the speakers, and the ergonomic Evolutive handles from LD Systems facilitate transportation. Adjustable inserts on the speaker stands allow for optimal alignment of the satellites.

With all the essential features and a powerful performance, the Dave 18 G3 is ideally suited for all high-power applications, but also for permanent installations. The Dave series now includes a 10″, 12″, 15″ and 18″ version.

The suggested retail price of the Dave 18 G3 is € 1,499.00.
