Sound Tuning with Subwoofer Extension – LD Systems MAUI 28 SUB EXT

The MAUI28 SUB EXT bass extension is designed to integrate seamlessly with the system: the sub/column combination is simply set into the precisely positioned milled openings on the top of the additional module. Of course, it can also be positioned to the side or so that it is free standing.
The sub extension has its own class AB power amplifier with 200W RMS output power that drives the two 8″ custom woofers with powerful ferrite magnets and attains a maximum sound-level pressure of 123dB. Two XLR/TRS combo sockets serve as inputs. There are two XLR sockets for looping through the signal. Individual LEDs indicate power, signal, and triggering of the protection circuit and the built-in limiter.
The compact bass-reflex V design made of 12mm multiplex is finished with long-wearing Dura Coat LX. A sturdy metal grille protects the drivers. Ergonomic handles ensure convenient transport.
