Press: Palmer® Debuts New Brand Identity at NAMM – Introduces Modernized Audio Tools While Staying True to Heritage

Neu-Anspach, Germany – January 21, 2019 – PALMER®, the audio tools brand popular around the world, has a new focus and is getting a facelift. In line with the new brand identity, the Adam Hall Group is presenting at the NAMM Show 2019 in Anaheim, California its latest PALMER® products, which incorporate the brand’s fresh new appeal. Adding these new innovations to its event technology portfolio, the overall customer-orientated philosophy of the manufacturer becomes even more evident: to create innovative, user-friendly and performance-driven event tech solutions, which enable people to electrify their ideas, amplify emotions, and share great moments together.

In the past, PALMER® products were segmented into two divisions: PALMER® Musical Instruments for guitarists and bassists and PALMER® Audio Tools for professional audio technicians. The products are known among musicians and studio technicians alike for their pure signal transmission, which allows users to achieve their desired sound in a pure sense – without any noise. As far as analog technology – effect boxes to studio DI boxes – is concerned, the aspiration to design versatile solution technology must also reflect the digital age. After all, applications are becoming increasingly more digital and PALMER® users, as a result, are becoming more professional with respect to their music and in the studio. These significant target group similarities have led to both segments being combined under a unified PALMER® brand. A decisive and transparent step that will also be mirrored in the future in the sophisticated, smart and slim product portfolio.

PALMER® – One Philosophy, One Brand
The new brand identity includes a consistent design language for all new products, which both radiates modernity and incorporates the warm, personal, user-focused attitude of the PALMER® brand. In this way, the modernized logo still includes the iconic palm trees and the familiar retro-style font of the 60s and 70s, but its now visually flat design has a significantly more modern and clean appearance. The message: PALMER® remains a traditional brand loved by numerous target groups around the world, but it also attracts digital natives. At the same time, the new brand claim PALMER® – Be true to your sound as well as the revised website, communications, advertisements and promotional mediums focus more on the needs of the user.

The PALMER® products presented at the NAMM Show 2019 incorporate the new brand focus into the smallest detail. Not only the design of the Pocket Amp series is unmistakably PALMER®. The sound of the pocket amps for bassists and acoustic and electrical guitarists will convince anyone – whether live and in studio or when practicing quietly with headphones. In addition, these compact devices can be operated via power cord or battery and thus used anywhere.

The brand new PALMER® MONICON XL studio monitor controller also provides the highest signal and sound fidelity and, with its professional tool set, presents itself as the tool of choice for the perfect mix in the home studio and in modern studio environments. With its combination of simple operation and professional equipment, the new flagship of the MONICON series makes the difference – a guideline that will guide the development of PALMER® products at all levels in the future.

In addition, Palmer is presenting the STUDIMON5, an active 5″ studio monitor in a particularly compact bass reflex housing. The STUDIMON5 also represents the new Palmer design language and, thanks to its elegant wood side walls, cuts an impressive figure in both studios as well as in other professional audio environments.  The STUDIMON5 is complemented by the rear bass reflex opening, inputs in the jack and XLR version, and a volume controller for precise tuning.
