Press: Successful Debut of Event.Tech Days – Adam Hall Group Launches New Business-Customer Exchange Platform in Experience Center

Neu-Anspach, Germany – November 29, 2019 – The Adam Hall Group launched its new customer-oriented event concept, Event.Tech Days, on November 21st and 22nd, 2018. In the new Experience Center at its headquarters in Neu-Anspach (near Frankfurt), Germany, the international manufacturer and distributor of event technology welcomed a total of 50 customers with 80 participants and presented the rental industry experts latest innovations from its solution portfolio, including from its brands of LD Systems, Cameo Light, and Gravity. Additionally, in a format coined “Tech Talks”, the rental professionals were subsequently invited to openly discuss and exchange their insights, ideas and views surrounding the future of the event technology industry with the Group’s product management and R&D teams. The Event.Tech Days were rounded off by a multi-faceted evening event in cooperation with BMW, including networking, dining & drinks, live music, as well as the German premiere of the new BMW X5 and 8 models.

With the Event.Tech Days, Adam Hall Group inducted a new series of events into its program establishing a future-oriented, customer-centric platform for sharing and exchanging ideas and information in cooperation with industry partners, customers, and service providers from various segments of event technology. Attending this inaugural event were rental company professionals from Germany, Switzerland, Austria, Belgium, the Netherlands, and Luxembourg, who received exclusive insights into new market introductions, such Cameo moving lights and battery-powered spotlights, as well as the new rental series from Gravity Stands, as well as hands-on demonstrations.

Motivational Keynote
Before the product specialists of the individual Adam Hall brands presented their new products, Adam Hall Group CEO, Alexander Pietschmann, made use of the opportunity to get the event makers in the right mood with an insightful and motivational keynote. The core statement: the true and still most important social media network is not Facebook or Instagram, but rather the personal event! Pietschmann used entertaining anecdotes to report on groundbreaking encounters with international pioneers, such as the British entrepreneur Richard Branson. The message: it is not the technology that is most important, but the event, the creative ideas, the encounter, the human being. These factors are the actual drivers in the event industry ensuring sustained success.

Innovative and reliable products can of course accelerate this success, as the Adam Hall Group product managers and developers Viktor Wiesner (Pro Audio, LD Systems), Daniel Garcia (LED Lighting, Cameo Light), and Robin Henlich (Stands/Accessories/Pro Audio, Gravity) demonstrated with their product presentations.

New Products Introductions for the Rental Market
In the Pro Audio segment, Viktor Wiesner presented the current LD Systems portfolio with the three keywords “Design – Flexibility – Touring”; from the award-winning MAUI P900 in cooperation with Porsche Design Studio through the CURV 500 TS Compact Touring System to the versatile Stinger G3 PA series in combination with the DSP 44/45 K power amps with Dante connection.

With regard to the professional use of LED lighting, Daniel Garcia provided initial insight into the new battery-powered ZENIT spotlights, the high performance EVOS, AZOR, and OPUS moving lights, as well as the LED theater spotlights of the F2 series with tungsten, daylight and RGBW light sources. The Cameo Light presentation was rounded off by the revolutionary QuickSpigot system for fast and flexible spotlight handling.

With Gravity, the emphasis was placed on the new rental series and the motto, “A good product starts with the customer.“ The new rental series was specifically designed and developed with the hard routine of the professional rental business in mind. Based on customer feedback, the rental series offers users robust tripod solutions with many well thought-out details.

“Tech Talks” – Building for the Future with and for Customers
The subsequent “Tech Talks” track provided another event highlight: participants of the Event.Tech Days were able to take part in small discussion groups at a total of eight stations and exchange experiences, provide suggestions, and offer critique with the respective Adam Hall employees from different company areas and inform themselves in a dialog concerning the most varied aspects of the event industry. The individual Tech Talk discussion islands extended from themes like “Event Tech Market of the Future – Where are we headed?” (Alexander Pietschmann) through “Battery-powered Lights – A wireless future” (Daniel Garcia), and “Audio for Professionals – System amplifiers and conventional high-performance PA Systems” (Viktor Wiesner) to the simple question of “Taping, Marking, Securing – What does a good event tape need?”

One-Stop-Shop for Event Tech Professionals
In addition to the products, customers, and Adam Hall employees, the focus was also on another performer at the Event.Tech Days: the Experience Center. In keeping with the motto “The future of event technology starts here,” the multi-faceted and mult-functional building complex, which was ceremoniously opened in June, served as a flexible framework for the event – from the welcoming of the participants through the product demos, hands-on sessions and Tech Talks in the showrooms to all-day catering for guests in the company restaurant “Come Together.”

In light of the given the resounding positive feedback, additional Event.Tech Days are planned to take place in 2019 with exact dates to be announced on the Adam Hall Group website: adamhall.com/ExperienceUsLive.
