Neu-Anspach, Germany – February 20^th, 2018 – Wherever the MAUI® P900 is presented, it receives awards or great praise. The German Design Award, iF Design Award, trade show visitors, the public, designers and end-users alike are all impressed by the design of the unique, top-class audio product. The Adam Hall Group appears to have captured the spirit of the times with this active column PA system from its brand LD Systems. The combination of state-of-the-art technology, a distinctive iconic design and exclusive materials bears the hallmark of the design agency Studio F.A. Porsche.

“The iconic column speakers combine clear, characteristic styling, high-quality materials and high-tech in a unique design of timeless beauty.” This was the statement from the jury presenting the German Design Award 2018, presented annually by the authority for German brands and design – the German Design Council. And this statement comes from one of the world’s leading centres of excellence for communication and brand-management in the field of design, whose exclusive network also includes trade associations, institutions and in particular, brand-influencers from renowned companies.

German Design Award – Public’s Choice 2018
In addition to the international jury’s expert judgement, this year the public also had the opportunity to vote for its favourite in recent weeks. From all of the German Design Award distinctions, users of the Design Explorer mobile app selected the Adam Hall Group with the LD Systems MAUI® P900 as winner of the Public’s Choice Award 2018.

iF DESIGN AWARD Victory
When it comes to outstanding design, the iF Design Award is a globally recognised and renowned trademark. Here too, the MAUI® P900 impressed the independent international jury of experts in the audio category. There were a high number of applicants. The winner of the coveted seal of quality was selected from over 6,400 submissions from 54 countries. The iF DESIGN AWARD is presented by the world’s oldest independent design institution, iF International Forum Design GmbH in Hanover, Germany.

International Trade Magazines Also Impressed
At the latest Integrated Systems Europe (ISE) trade fair in Amsterdam, the NewBay media publications PSNEurope, Audio Media International, Installation and AV Technology Europe presented the NewBay Best of Show Award to the MAUI® P900. Only the best new products on the market that were present at the international trade fair can receive this special award.

Groundbreaking Vision in Pro Audio

Developed in collaboration with Porsche Design Studio, the MAUI® P900 provides excellent reproduction clarity and outstanding high-definition sound. The active 3-way class D system features an impressive 50 neodymium transducers (32 x 1-inch tweeters, 16 x 2.8-inch woofers, 2 x 10-inch subwoofers) utilising patented WaveAhead® technology and the innovative SonicGuide® design principle, which guides the sound waves from the tweeters and woofers for perfect phase and time-coherent playback. The result is natural sound reproduction over a wide frequency range of 42 Hz to 20 kHz.

The MAUI® P900 is expected to be available from the end of May 2018.
