Press: LD Systems MAUI 5 now also available in white

The ultra-portable MAUI® 5 column system is now available in an attractive white version. Thanks to its new look, this fantastic system, which has already won both the iF Design Award 2016 and the Red Dot Award 2016, now appeals to further target groups and adds a fresh touch to cafés and lounges, as well as at events such as fashion shows, vernissages and weddings. The white MAUI® 5 now even integrates perfectly into places of worship.

Neu-Anspach, Germany – 26 July 2016 – Outstanding design and amazing sound: these are the characteristics of the LD Systems MAUI® 5. Originally available in black but now also in white, this column system’s elegant appearance enables it to perfectly integrate into almost any environment. The active MAUI® 5 with mixer and Bluetooth® is a PA and monitor system in one. Weighing just 11 kg and with a peak power output of 800 watts and maximum 120 dB sound pressure, the smallest member of the MAUI® family impresses with outstanding audio performances, broad dispersion and high resistance to feedback. With a specially developed multi-pin connection system and only four components, the column system can be assembled in seconds. Integrated Bluetooth® technology for wireless streaming as well as microphone, line and high-impedance inputs, which can be used simultaneously, make it possible to connect several different sound sources to the MAUI® 5.
