LD Systems & Cameo Light at the 18th Hohenlohe Wine Village

The famous Hohenlohe Wine Village took place in July 2013. For the 18th time, the organisers can look back on to a very satisfying event. The large stage on the fairgrounds inspired thousands of spectators; the bands and event technicians were also mightily impressed by the good sound and coherent illumination. The DDQ series from LD Systems, as well as the slim light strip Cameo BAR made a bright appearance.

The 5-day event on the theme of “wine” attracted a total of about 30,000 people on the festival grounds of the Hohenlohe Wine Village. On Friday and Saturday alone, about 10,000 visitors flocked to the festival grounds in front of the large concert stage. The stage was equipped by Concept Media PA, a service provider of event technology from Öhrigen. Uwe Bertet, who was in charge, reports on his experiences with the products from LD Systems and Cameo Light:

2 x LD Systems DDQ 10 – 10″ PA Speakers with DSP & 4 x LD Systems DDQ 12 – 12″ PA Speakers with DSP were used.

Microphones from LD Systems were also used, both vocal and instrument microphones (D1012, D1020, D1057 & D1102), which were mounted on tripods from Adam Hall Stands. The singers and the audience loved the sound and were thrilled with the successful performances.

Especially in the evening, the lighting systems from Cameo Light came into their own and enhanced the musical performances with the right atmosphere. Simply a fantastic show with superb lighting effects!

This was due in part to the 4 x Cameo BAR – 252 x 10 mm LED RGBA Colour Bar setup as colour floodlights.
